Mental Health Counseling

Mental health counseling offers a supportive space to understand what you are experiencing, build coping skills, and work toward meaningful change. At Solstice Counseling & Wellness Centers, counseling is grounded in respect, collaboration, and practical support for real life.

We work with adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, stress, grief, trauma, relationship concerns, substance use recovery, and other behavioral health needs.

How Counseling Can Help

Counseling can help clients identify patterns, process difficult experiences, strengthen communication, manage symptoms, and build healthier ways of responding to stress. For some people, therapy is focused on a specific challenge. For others, it becomes part of a longer-term plan for stability, growth, and recovery.

Solstice takes an individualized approach so treatment reflects the client’s needs, goals, history, and current circumstances.

Integrated Behavioral Health Care

Many clients benefit from counseling that is connected to other services. When appropriate, Solstice can coordinate mental health counseling with substance use treatment, psychiatric evaluation, medication management, care coordination, and recovery support.

This integrated model helps reduce the burden on clients and supports better communication across the treatment team.

What to Expect

During the first phase of care, our team works to understand the client’s concerns, strengths, risks, and goals. From there, we develop a treatment plan and recommend the level and type of service that best fits the client’s needs.

Counseling may include individual sessions, group-based support, skill building, relapse prevention planning, and coordination with other providers or supports when clinically appropriate.
